So we started shooting a spoof mini cop series during breaks in between filiming the feature. It’s about two cops. That’s pretty much all we have so far, other than me and my partner taking off our sunglasses as many times as possible like Horatio on CSI. The following are the first two scenes I wrote up on set.

Scene 1

Mike and Brad roam around a city park, aimlessy looking for clues.

Mike: I feel like we’re on a fucking wild goose chase, boss.

Brad takes off his glasses and motions his head towards an abandoned van in the distance.

Brad: Duck duck….
Mike: Goose…

Mike and Brad break into a full on sprint towards the van.

Scene 2

Mike and Brad come across a dead body in a field.

Mike: What do you make of it, boss?
Brad: Looks like the grim reaper beat us to the punch.
Mike: I guess this is one perp who got off easy.
Brad: I don’t know. Do we have jurisdiction… in hell?
