For the past few years I’ve wanted to put together a Halloween project I call “The Stages of Cages”. All it requires is that we dress up as whatever Nic Cage character we love the most before heading out to that super cool Halloween party we’ve been looking forward to. Close your eyes and imagine five or six Nic Cages tearing up a dance floor or waiting in line for a beer - I honestly can’t think of anything more magical.
I’ve already done Cage in “Con Air” so I’ll probably go with “Vampire’s Kiss” or “Adaptation”. If you want in on this magical experience sit down and think which Cage is your favorite and lock that costume down. Although a cluster of Cages at a party is preferred we don’t have to live in the same city or be at the same party as long as we’re all channeling the spirit of Cage.
Let’s do this.
